Layla was born at 20:13 on 27th December 2004 and weighed 2.8kg (6lb 2ounces). Camilla and baby are just perfect.

What's in the Name: Layla is Arabic for "born at night" or "night" and Grace is "God's grace". As you might know when Camilla was 8 weeks pregnant she got appendicitis and we were told 3 times that we had lost our baby, but God showed His Grace in our darkest hour (night) - hence the name Layla Grace

God has provided for us in many ways, but keeping our baby healthy through very bad appendicitis and a massive surgery and everything that follows is more than we could ask for. Even the doctors had to admit that it was a miracle that the baby was still alive. I believe it is a miracle and we trust God will continue his protection on our family.
